🌱 Innovation System at Fuorisalone: a journey into conscious and connected Ecodesign

Installation at CoFactory, workshop and Innovation System experiences: here are the highlights of the week.

The heart of Milanese design vibrated April 8-12 with the energy of the Fuorisalone, and Innovation System was proudly featured within the “Ecodesign Pathway: Conscious and Connected.” At CoFactory Designtech's space, we shared our vision of a future where technology and sustainability come together to create smarter and more responsible products and processes.

This exciting adventure would not have been the same without the valuable synergy with our partners: SustainMe Hub, Designtech, Ecoesedra Sustainable Design, EZ Lab, and EconomiaCircolare.com.

Together, we animated a journey that turned the spotlight on the importance of ecodesign as a key to the entire product life cycle.

Our co-founder, Elena Lazar, had the honor of sharing her expertise in an engaging mini talk with Economiacircolare.com journalist Vittoria Moccagatta. Energy efficiency and process awareness were the pillars of her interview, highlighting how these elements are indispensable for embracing a virtuous circular economy model.

We concluded this event with the final workshop in the CoFactory arena: “Ecodesign and the product supply chain: workshops on design, IoT and reliable data, impact measurement, legal protection and digital product passport.”

This moment of discussion was attended by Avv. Simone Facchinetti, whose contribution was fundamental in navigating the regulatory complexities governing the subject and understanding the tools to protect the intellectual property of design works, and Carlo Lusi, General Counsel of Cisambiente Confindustria and Commercial Director Sumus Italia.

We explored concretely how to make products with a view to full circularity, with an emphasis on the necessary awareness of production processes to achieve this ambitious goal.

We had the pleasure of welcoming schools eager to understand the future of sustainable design and companies, designers and the curious who enthusiastically participated in our guided tours.
